The North East & North West PGA has announced Titleist as the new sponsor of its season-long Order of Merit.
The new title sponsorship for the order of merit – which was won by Morpeth’s David Clark in 2024 – will include increased prizes available for the leading professionals following the 10 events which make up the points race.
The series begins with five Pro Series events at Rockliffe Hall, Hartlepool, Close House, Penrith and Sharpley.
It also includes four strokeplay tournaments – The Northumberland & Durham Open at The Northumberland, the NE/NW Championship at Matfen Hall, the Heineken Dunstanburgh Classic at Dunstanburgh Castle, and the Tour Championship at Brancepeth Castle. The leading 16 players then progress to the season-ending Matchplay Championship at Slaley Hall.
