Steven Findlay lifted the Northumberland Seniors Championship trophy at Arcot Hall after rounds of 74 and 72.
Steven, from The Northumberland Golf Club, earned his first Seniors Championship title and will go forward to the national county Champion of Champions event at Woodhall Spa in September.
Backworth’s Steve Anderton and Whitley Bay’s Paul Taylor finished in second place, two shots back on eight over-par.
The RW Johnson Decanter (best gross for over 65s) went to The Northumberland’s Alan Ross, while the Tim Bull Trophy (best nett in round one) went to Hexham’s Kim Steward.
The leading eight players will now progress to compete for the Mike Fleming Trophy, with the quarter-final matches set to take place on June 30, with the semi-finals and final set for July 8.
