City of Newcastle’s Steve Slater added the Northumberland Seniors Championship to his trophy cabinet with victory over his home course.
Tied after 36 holes with defending champion Sandy Twynholm, Steve came out on top at the first playoff hole as City of Newcastle’s Ken Cairns finished a shot outside the playoff in third place.
