Two-time European Tour winner Graeme Storm hopes to work with some of the region’s most promising golfers after the success of two masterclasses.

Storm is a golf consultant at Thorp Academy, Ryton, and Dyke House College, Hartlepool and is keen to help develop some of the game’s future stars.

More than 60 youngsters attended the two events held in association with Thorp Academy at Tyneside Golf Club and Close House.

Storm, who won the South Africa Open in January, is now looking forward to seeing some of them on Thorp’s Elite Performer Programme.

“It would be fantastic if some of those golfers come along to work with me more often at Thorp,” said Storm. “It would be nice to offer them more tuition and to help direct them on the right path to achieve their golfing potential while at school and college.”
