Seaham edged out host club Consett by a single shot in the North Durham League’s Teams Championship.
Seaham shot a team total of 286 to lift the trophy with Consett just one behind as Heworth tied for third place on 293 alongside Crook.
Crook’s Craig Elliott shot a five under-par 66 to win the individual gross and nett trophies playing off a handicap of four. It was also a good day for Garesfield’s John King, who scored a hole-in-one with a seven iron on the 152-yard sixth hole.
Each club was represented by a team of five, with the best four gross scores counting.
