Brancepeth Castle’s Richard Aisbitt added the Chester Bowl to his long list of scratch event successes – shooting a three under-par round of 68 to claim the title.
The third staging of the Durham order of merit event at Chester-le-Street Golf Club saw Castle Eden’s Stuart Brown finish one shot back in second place as Chester’s Brain Nelson finished third with a level-par round of 71. The best nett trophy was won by Beamish Park’s Ant Namjou.
