The Durham County Golf Union Juniors section has paid tribute to Mizuno Golf UK and Rockliffe Hall for making its mini tour a success for the seventh year in a row.
Jordan Pout, the Mizuno Race 2 Rockliffe initiative manager for the Durham County Golf Union Juniors, said: “We really appreciate Mizuno Golf UK’s support on a continuous basis and also Rockliffe Hall for their support as host venue. The event has been a great success year after year and the Durham County Golf Union Juniors look to make this year an even greater success than before with the new changes and technology we are able to use throughout the season.”
The Mizuno Race2Rockliffe is an order of merit series which aims to get junior golfers from across County Durham with a CONGU handicap playing competitively, and to gain points through playing at different courses between April and August. They go on and qualify for a place at the grand final held at Rockliffe Hall.
Free registration is now open on the Durham County Golf Union website.
Meanwhile, the Durham County Golf Development Group is hosting a Junior Conference at George Washington Golf Club on February 27, 6-9pm. The event is open to representatives from Durham clubs and is supported by England Golf and The Golf Foundation.
