Will Bowe overcame Workington clubmate Jack Hunter to win the Cumbria Union of Golf Clubs’ Matchplay Championship.
In a repeat of last year’s final, which was won by Jack, who also overcame Will in a sudden-death playoff in this year’s county Strokeplay Championship, Will came out on top with a 2&1 victory at Maryport Golf Club – claiming the trophy for a seventh time.
