Michael Kelly has been appointed as the new Durham County Golf Union secretary following Jonathan Ward’s departure.
“I realise it is an immense honour and a privilege to be appointed as secretary,” said Michael. “I will endeavour to serve the executive committee, the clubs and all golfers in County Durham as diligently and professionally as I possibly can.
“Jonathan has been an exceptional county secretary over the last seven years and I aim to continue, and build upon, all the hard work he has done for the union. I’m sure I speak for all those involved in golf in the county when I wish Jonathan all the very best in his new role with England Golf.”
