Ramside Hall junior Hayden Pragnell got a British Masters moment of his own when he got the chance to meet and play a round with Ladies European Tour star Charley Hull at Woburn Golf Club.
Hayden, 13, won the chance to meet Charley at her home club by finishing second in the Bridgestone Tee Off Challenge in the Chase Your Dream No Matter What Pavillion at the 2018 British Masters.
The group of winners got to meet Charley over breakfast at Woburn before playing 12 holes with her and receiving autographed balls and caps to take home.
Following the trip Hayden, who has a current handicap of 21, said: “It was so exciting to meet Charley as she is a great golfer and to get to meet her at Woburn was so good. I had a great day – it was loads of fun playing golf but it was freezing cold!
“Charley is a great golfer and played off the white tees with me. She hit the ball miles and played really good. The main thing I learned from her is to follow my dreams and not to get frustrated.
“Charley was very friendly, she told me she had just got back from Florida and she was freezing too. We talked about Ramside too – she won a competition there when she was younger.”
The 2019 British Masters will be hosted by Tommy Fleetwood at Hillside Golf Club in May.
