John Kirkpatrick made it back to the county winners’ circle with victory in the Durham Seniors Championship at Heworth.
The Ramside golfer (pictured) posted a fantastic four under-par 67 in the first round and followed it with a 69 for a six under-par total of 136 and victory by three shots.
Heworth’s Dave Moralee and defending champion David Conway chased him all the way but could not catch John.
