Jessica’s England call

Jessica-Hall

Jessica Hall has broken through into the England Girls’ team.

Based at Bishop Auckland Golf Club, 18-year-old Jessica received her first call-up following a string of solid results including a recent top-20 finish in the Portuguese Amateur – where she was the leading English player with rounds of 77, 76, 74 and 70.

The result in Portugal helped earn her a place in the England team for the Nations Cup, played as part of the Irish Girls’ Open Strokeplay Championship at Roganstown in April.

Jessica was also chosen to represent England in the Nations Cup at The Scottish Girls’ Open Strokeplay Championship at Montrose two weeks later.

Part of a six-strong England squad, which has produced impressive early season performances, Jessica has consistently improved her results – including a final round of 70 in Portugal and a level par 71 in the Leveret Trophy at Formby Ladies.

Back on home ground, she was runner-up to Bishop Auckland teammate Briony Bayles in the Durham County Ladies Championship losing the final 4&3 at South Shields.
