Heworth duo Graeme Hudson and Ian Gutteridge have won an all-expenses-paid trip to TPC Sawgrass after emerging victorious at the Hole in One Club National Finals at Carden Park.
The pair scored 46 points and won on countback to clinch a trip to play at the home of The Players Championship.
“We’re over the moon to have won it,” said Ian. “We both played really well and it was a bit nerve-racking waiting for the countback. I can’t believe the prize we’ve won, it’s still sinking in, but roll on September and Sawgrass.”
Graeme added: “It’s unbelievable, we just went out and played and gave it a real team effort. Now we’ve won we can look forward to teeing it up at Sawgrass.”
