Close House to host 2023 International Series England qualifier

Close House will host a qualifying event in June ahead of the International Series England, with six spots available in the field for the $2million event.

The qualifier will take place on Tuesday June 27 over the Colt Course, with entries open to all amateurs and professionals.

“We’re proud to be hosting the International Series England in August and are looking forward to welcoming the tour for what is set to be a memorable tournament,” said Close House managing director Jonathan Lupton. “I encourage any amateur or professional who is seeking an elevated tour experience to play in the qualifier, for a special chance to play this level of event on English soil. This is a great opportunity to compete in an event that now sits firmly on the strong Asian Tour circuit, among some golfing greats.”

The International Series England made its debut in Northumberland last year and marked the first time the Asian Tour had staged an event in the United Kingdom. This year, the event will provide a unique stage for the next generation of stars to take their golf to higher levels, providing a pathway to compete in the LIV Golf League.

Entry into the qualifier is £125, with the field limited to 144 players, including a minimum of 20 amateur places.
