City of Newcastle Golf Club’s president Dave Fletcher has handed over a cheque for £1,000 to Dementia Matters at Brunswick Village.
Raised on Dave’s President’s Day in 2022, the money was presented to Dementia Matters’ CEO Bev Reid.
She said: “Thank you very much for the very kind and generous donation.
“We are a small charity set up to support local people and the past few years have been particularly challenging, however we remain very proud and committed to providing the very best we can to those who need us.”
