Paul Bradley survived a rocky run-in to win the Durham County Golf Union’s Second Division Championship at Durham City by one shot.
The Eaglescliffe player went to the turn in 38 and played steadily on the back nine with a couple of birdies at the 11th and 14th, but a bogey at 16 was followed by a double bogey at 17. Then steadied the ship and parred the last for a five over-par round of 76 and a one-shot victory over Hobson’s Chris Ayer. Dinsdale’s Rob Moncur finished third with a round of 78.
