Teesside’s Alex Boyes topped the leaderboard in the North of England U14s Junior Open Strokeplay Championship at Beamish Park with rounds of 68, 73 and 68 for a six-shot margin of victory.
In the girls’ event, Wynyard’s Amy Burton led the way with rounds of 75, 81 and 74.
Meanwhile, the under-12 prizes went to Craigielaw’s Stella Walters and Chester-le-Street’s Andre Bethapudi. The overall nett winners were Coventry’s Oliver Camargo Jones and Bathgate’s Maisie Witt.
