The 2020protour has announced that female professionals and elite amateurs will play for separate prize money on the circuit in 2026. Male and female professionals will also compete for separate order of merit titles and incentives for the first time this season.
“We truly believe that, if this change is supported and female players get behind the tour, the snowball effect will be huge and players will have a tour to play with prize funds continuing to grow going forward,” said tour co-founders Chris Hanson and Adam Walker.
