James and Andrew Wilson shared top spot in the SG Petch-sponsored Blackwell Grange Golf Club pro am, while Simon Robinson picked up the winner’s cheque in the Middlesbrough Golf Club pro am.
In the biggest North East & North West PGA pro am of the season, James and Andrew posted six under-par scores to top the leaderboard as 48 professionals and 144 amateurs competed for the prizes. In the team event, Newbiggin pro Colin Ferguson led Team Salt Restaurant to victory with a score of 89 points.
Meanwhile, Close House-based professional Simon Robinson led the way in the Middlesbrough Golf Club pro am with a three under-par total. He was followed be a trio of players – Josh Fox, Martyn Stubbings and James Wilson – in a tie for second place with 38 points.
