James Harper and James Wilson have risen to first and second place respectively in the North East & North West PGA’s Mizuno Order of Merit following wins at Cleveland and Bedlingtonshire.
James Harper led the field in the fourth Pro Series event at Bedlingtonshire with a five under-par round of 68. The win saw him climb to the top of the order of merit after four Pro Series events with a total of 331 points.
James Wilson meanwhile topped the leaderboard at Cleveland with a four under-par round of 68 and sits just seven points off top spot in the season-long points race.
Tom Robson is third in the standings following second-place finishes at Brampton and Bedlingtonshire, and a T4 finish at Cleveland.
The next stop for the NE/NW PGA Pro Series is Rockliffe Hall on May 5 before the circuit heads to Hexham on May 17 for the sixth and final Pro Series event. As well as the Pro Series, the circuit’s six professional tournaments also contribute to the season-long Mizuno Order of Merit.
