Whickham Golf Club’s Bryan Levey and James Simpson emerged victorious in the Northumberland and Durham Inter-County Foursomes at South Shields Golf Club.
The event’s Durham champions overcame The Northumberland Golf Club’s Seton Wakenshaw and Paul Caldicott 3&2 in the final – having beat Castle Eden’s Sean Huntington and Steven Presho in the morning. Seton and Paul beat Hexham’s Martin Coup and George Ridley in the Northumberland final earlier in the day.
