Srixon has expanded its ZXi iron family into the game improvement category with the launch of the ZXiR and ZXiR HL models (RRP £959, six irons).
To strike the perfect balance between feel and performance, Srixon has developed i-ALLOY – a new material engineered specifically for the ZXiR irons which is 10% softer than 431 steel and delivers
enhanced feedback, quieter vibration and a softer feel.
Meanwhile, new MainFrame milling patterns redistribute mass across the clubface to amplify ball speed and forgiveness. The irons also feature longer blade lengths, wider soles and more offset than the other ZXi models – while maintaining their premium cavity-back shaping and clean topline profile.
The ZXiR HL (High Launch) irons – Srixon’s first super game improvement model – feature lofts tuned for higher launch to help golfers with slower swing speeds produce shots which fly higher, spin more and land softer. There are also new Women’s ZXiR HL irons, which have optimised performance and components designed specifically for female golfers.
The new models also feature proven Srixon technologies – including the Tour V.T. Sole; progressive groove width and depth to further control launch, speed and spin; and laser face milling. They complete Srixon’s iron matrix – which also includes the ZXi7 players iron, ZXi5 players distance iron, ZXi4 players development iron, ZXiU utility iron, and the Z-Forged II blade iron.
