Shot Scope unveils its first launch monitor

Shot Scope has launched the LM1 launch monitor – delivering accurate, easy to understand performance data in a compact, affordable device.

Designed to make data-driven practice accessible to every golfer, the LM1 has an RRP of £199.99 with no subscription fees.

“The launch of LM1 marks a major step forward in our mission to give every golfer access to technology and products that genuinely help them play better,” said David Hunter, CEO of Shot Scope. “By combining powerful data with an easy to use design, LM1 delivers the accuracy and insight golfers expect, at a price point that opens the door for more golfers to benefit from true performance data. It’s an exciting milestone for us and for the future of accessible golf technology.”

Powered by Doppler radar technology, the LM1 measures five key performance metrics – club speed, ball speed, smash factor (calculated in real time), carry distance, and total distance. By capturing both swing and ball data, LM1 gives golfers a clear understanding of how efficiently they generate speed and convert it into distance.

Designed for versatility, the LM1 is compact, lightweight, easy to read with a bright 3.5ins colour display, and straightforward to set up for use both indoors and outdoors. Golfers simply place the device approximately 5ft behind the hitting position, power it on, select a club, and swing.

With up to five hours of battery life, the device supports extended practice sessions and on-course play. After sessions, the LM1 can sync the session to the Shot Scope App so golfers can evaluate progress.
