MacGregor Golf is aiming to build on its legacy with the launch of the Tourney Max driver and fairway woods.
The series has been created by industry veteran and club designer Gavin Wallin – and it aims to blend performance with value.
The new driver features an aerodynamic, precision-engineered head shape that maximises the size of the sweet spot, providing enhanced stability and forgiveness across a larger hitting area. The lightweight carbon crown reduces overall clubhead weight, allowing mass to be distributed lower in the head for improved balance and control as well as delivering a lower centre of gravity to promote higher launch angles and increased stability at impact. The aerodynamic design reduces drag – while the hot, thin face is designed to maximise ball speed across the entire hitting surface.
The Tourney Max Driver (RRP £219.99) is available in 9° and 10.5° lofts, each offering ±2° of adjustability.
Meanwhile, the new fairway woods (RRP £119.99) are designed to complement the driver – with three-wood (15°) and five-wood (18°) options delivering a blend of forgiveness and workability.
