England Golf has named its squads for the Women’s & Men’s Home Internationals and the Girls’ & Boys’ Home Internationals – with Northumberland’s Charlotte Naughton in the girls’ team, and Rosie Belsham and Jess Baker in the women’s team.
The Women’s & Men’s Home Internationals take place at Murcar Links, Scotland August 7-9, while the Girls’ & Boys’ Home Internationals take place from at Conwy Golf Club in Wales August 6-8.
England have won all three of the combined Girls’ & Boys’ Home Internationals since they began in 2021, and both of the combined Women’s & Men’s Home Internationals since they started in 2022.
England Golf performance manager Ben Gorvett said: “We’ve had a successful couple of months on the whole, with three teams medalling in the European Team Championships, accompanied by a team and individual medal at the European Young Masters, and strong representation in the St Andrews Trophy. We are aiming to continue on this trajectory against talented opposition at Murcar Links and Conwy.”
Charlotte will be part of the girls’ team alongside Sadie Adams (Royal Birkdale, Lancashire), Lauren Crump (Hill Valley, Shropshire), Annabel Peaford (Walton Heath, Surrey), Matilde Santilli (Foxhills, Surrey) and Amelia Wan (Sherwood Forest, Nottinghamshire).
Rosie and Jess will represent England’s women’s team alongside Lily Hirst (Huddersfield, Yorkshire), Isla McDonald-O’Brien (Shrewsbury, Shropshire), Nellie Ong (Eaton, Norfolk), Patience Rhodes (Burnham & Berrow, Somerset) and Lottie Woad (Farnham, Surrey).
