Nick McCarthy led the men’s professional and elite amateur field in the 2020protour event at Manchester Golf Club, as Abbi Rowlands won the women’s event.
A field of 72 golfers contested the fourth winter series pro am on this year’s 2020protour schedule, which incorporated an individual event for professionals and elite amateurs.
Nick led the way with an eight under-par score of 44 points, taking home £850. George Woolgar finished once shot back in second place as Nick Marsh finished third.
In the women’s event, Foxhills-based Abbi took top spot with 38 points, with two-time winner Bel Wardle one shot back in second.
In the pro am event, Tom Bennett and Sonny Lewis from Mersey Valley led the way with 46 points.
Next up on the 2020protour is a visit to Wheatley Golf Club on Tuesday April 14, which follows The Match with the Yorkshire union men’s team at Ganton on April 10.
