NE/NW PGA announces 2025 schedule

The North East & North West PGA has unveiled a packed schedule of 30 pro ams and 10 tournaments for 2025.

The circuit will host events across the region and further afield – with teams heading to Turkey in March before competing at Kilmarnock Barassie and Glasgow Gailes in April.

The first club pro am takes place on May 9 at Bishop Auckland Golf Club, and popular venues and events return to the schedule throughout the summer. Notable events include the Tom Flowers Memorial Pro Am at Ramside Hall on June 4, the Kitwave Golf Day Pro Am at Rockliffe Hall on June 26, and the Heineken Dunstanburgh Castle Pro Am on September 1.

PGA professionals will also compete in professional tournaments throughout the season, earning points in the season-long Order of Merit. The season begins with five Pro Series events before 18- or 36-hole tournaments take place at The Northumberland, Matfen Hall, Dunstanbrgh Castle and Brancepeth Castle before the season-ending Matchplay Championship takes place at Slaley Hall.
