Morpeth Golf Club will represent Northumberland in England Golf’s Junior Champion Club event at Woodhall Spa at the end of the season following victory in the Northumberland Junior Teams Championship.
The home team – represented by Daniel and Ethan Hourigan, and Alan Young – led scoring at Morpeth with a three-player total of 244 as Hexham finished in second place, seven shots back.
The individual scoring was led by The Northumberland’s Harrison Sewell (best gross, one over-par) and Hexham’s Charlie Clark (best nett, nine under-par 62).
