Rotherham-based Lucas Martin topped the leaderboard in the British Universities and College Sport (BUCS) English & Welsh Championship at The Nottinghamshire.
University of Lancashire student Lucas – who won the North of England Amateur in 2024 – led the field in the men’s event with a seven under-par total after shooting rounds of 67, 74 and 68.
Meanwhile, Close House’s Andrew Griffiths (representing Northumbria University) finished in a tie for second place alongside Suphaputha Puthivaratikun and Charlie Robb on two under-par.
In the women’s event, Lauren McGinnis from the University of Bath led the field with a one under-par total.
