Look good… Fink Golf Wear set to expand apparel range

North East-based Fink Golf Wear is aiming to build on the success of its first collection of golf apparel as it expands its range and works with leading players from our region.

Created by Brenden and David Carr – who spent years researching the market and worked alongside North East-born fashion designer Emma Coyle to develop the range – the collection features unique designs, on-course staples and premium performance fabrics throughout.

It is set to grow this summer and into autumn/winter, adding to the plain and block colour polos as well as the standout Pin Stripe Polo; layering options including the Essential Gilet and quarter-zips in charcoal, black and cream; and the headline Windbreaker Jacket – a versatile, modern and lightweight water-resistant hooded jacket which is available in sky blue.

“After two years of research and travelling the world to establish manufacturing partnerships, we have developed products that we want to wear and see other golfers wearing out on the course. We’re so proud of what we’ve come up with and the response to our first pieces has been incredibly positive,” said Brenden.

“Launching a business takes a great deal of commitment, and investment. We wanted to create a brand where quality is paramount in all our garments, and we’re working with some amazing people who are fully committed to our ideas and vision. We are really excited to develop more for men and women, building on the high-quality products already in our range. We’ve poured our hearts and souls into this and there’s lots more to come.”

The Fink team is supporting PGA professionals James Wilson and Mark Ridley this season, as well as providing support for male and female amateurs, and European Disabled Golf Association player David Stocks.

“Supporting local people is really important to us,” added Brenden. Each of them brings something different to the table while showcasing our clothing to new audiences as they compete out on the golf course. We’re looking forward to working with them in the months and years ahead as we all develop together as a team.”

More pieces are set to be added to the Fink range in the coming weeks and months, including women’s apparel. You can find the Fink range in the pro shops at Hobson and Consett & District as well as selected clubs across the UK and online at www.finkgolfwear.com
