The Ladies European Tour (LET) has announced its 2025 schedule with 30 events across 20 countries – including new events in Australia, Tenerife and Belgium.
In 2025 there will be €39million in total prize money, with several new venues and events.
In March, the inaugural Australian WPGA Championship will launch a three-week stretch of co-sanctioned events with the WPGA Tour of Australasia. June will see the tour visit two new locations as it returns to Tenerife after a 10-year hiatus, then heads to the Hulencourt Women’s Open in Belgium.
Golf Saudi builds on its commitment to the women’s game by increasing the total prize fund of the Aramco Series presented by PIF events to $13million. The marquee event in Riyadh will remain a $5million prize fund and the other four global events in the series will be doubled to $2million each.
“We are pleased that our global tour will be making an impact on five different continents and offering our players enhanced playing opportunities in 2025,” said LET CEO Alexandra Armas. “Our extraordinary elite female athletes are at the highest level in their game, and we also have incredible emerging talent coming through LETAS and Lalla Aicha Qualifying School. This year, our tour delivered $300million in net sponsorship value and 30,000 hours of TV coverage. We have had a lot of interest in hosting events in 2025 and additional events could be added to the schedule throughout the year. We hope that the additional tournaments will bring further visibility, global audiences and increased opportunities for our players and we would like to thank our tour sponsors, partners and event promoters for their continued support as we grow the women’s game. We are looking forward to a great season ahead.”
The season will kick off in February with the Lalla Meryem Cup at the Royal Golf Dar Es Salam in Rabat, Morocco – before travelling to Saudi Arabia for the Aramco Series presented by PIF – Riyadh.
In April, the tour will return to South Africa for a fortnight for the Joburg Ladies Open, where Chiara Tamburlini produced a dominant display to claim her first success on the LET. 2025 will mark the fourth consecutive year this tournament has been hosted at the Modderfontein Golf Club. The tour will then travel to the south coast for the Investec South African Women’s Open at the Erinvale Country and Golf Estate.
May will see the LET travel to South Korea for the Aramco Series presented by PIF – Seoul, followed by the Dutch Ladies Open – the first tournament of the year in Europe. June will mark the halfway point in the season, with the Tenerife Women’s Open, the Hulencourt Women’s Open, the Tipsport Czech Ladies Open, and the Amundi German Masters in the same month.
In July, the LET travels to Ireland for the KPMG Women’s Irish Open, followed by the Amundi Evian Championship in France. The tour then continues to Scotland – with Dundonald Links set to host the ISPS HANDA Women’s Scottish Open.
