Vince Guest came through a sudden-death playoff to lift the North East & North West PGA’s Heineken Dunstanburgh Classic trophy on the Northumberland coast.
Teesside Golf Club-based Vince and Close House-based Craig Smith topped the leaderboard with one under-par scores of 69 after 18 holes – with Vince securing victory in the Titleist Order of Merit event with a birdie at the second hole of the playoff.
Meanwhile, three players – Graeme Bell (Hartlepool), George Cowan (Westerhope) and Jonathan Graham (Whitehaven) – finished two shots back in a tie for third place.
