The Northern Junior Golf Tour celebrates its 10th year in 2019, and it will be hosting events in North Yorkshire for the first time.
The new leg of the tour will feature five events in North Yorkshire – at Thirsk & Northallerton, Richmond, Saltburn, Bedale and Teesside.
The five qualifying events have been added to the schedule alongside five-event campaigns in Northumberland, Durham and Cumbria. The leading points scorers from these events will meet in the Regional Final at Alnmouth Golf Club on September 1.
In Northumberland, the events will take place at Warkworth (April 28), Hexham (May 19), Prudhoe (June 23), Allendale (July 7) and Bedlingtonshire (August 17).
In Durham, events will be held at Barnard Castle (April 13), Castle Eden (May 25), Garesfield (June 16), Wynyard (July 13) and Dinsdale Spa (August 24).
In Cumbria, events will be held at Eden (April 28), Windermere (May 19), Ulverston (June 30), Cockermouth (July 7) and Brampton (July 28).
The Junior Golf Tour hosts nine-hole qualifying events for boys and girls aged 6-14 years old and is sponsored by Mizuno, Chinnydipper Junior Golf Clothing and Factory Eleven.
