Doncaster’s Josh Berry narrowly missed out on back-to-back HotelPlanner Tour wins as Quim Vidal won a dramatic playoff at the Delhi Challenge.
Nineteen-year-old Josh, who rose to second in the season-long Road to Mallorca with the result, shot rounds of 69, 66, 67 and 68 to share the 72-hole lead with Quim – who had led by three shots going into the final round but needed an eagle on the 18th to force a playoff at Classic Golf & Country Club.
In the playoff, both players birdied the first two extra holes before Quim closed out victory with a birdie on the third playoff hole.
