North East & North West PGA chairman John Harrison was part of a five-way tie for top spot in the Lloyd Motor Group-sponsored pro am at Carlisle Golf Club, securing a victory which brought his tally to 50 consecutive years of success as a PGA professional.
John, who turned professional in 1977, joined Kyle Marklew, Darren Pearce, Mark Ridley and Michael Skelton at the top of the leaderboard as all five players shot two under-par rounds.
In the team event, amateurs Andrew Hodgson, Bradley Atkinson and Neil Wilson teamed up with Darren Crowle to win with a 19 under-par score of 91 points.
