Following his victory in the North East & North West PGA’s Mizuno Order of Merit last season, James Wilson has signed a two-year players’ contact with the Japanese brand.
Tyneside-based James, who will compete on the region’s PGA circuit as well as the Tartan Pro Tour in 2024, said: “Winning the order of merit last season was fantastic, and to be given the opportunity to work with Mizuno on the back of that is amazing.
“The team – including Joe Beck, Adrian Longstaff and James Glenn – couldn’t have done more for me through the onboarding and fitting process, and I’m already seeing positive progress with the equipment throughout my bag.
“I can’t thank the Mizuno team, and Steve Harrison from the NE/NW PGA, enough for all their hard work. I’m looking forward to representing the brand at home and on tour.”
