Neil Gascoigne successfully defended the Scottish Hickory Championship at Fortrose & Rosemarkie Golf Club.
Winner of the 2020 event at Kilspindie, Newcastle United-based Neil (pictured) posted a round of 79 on the gorse-lined links set on the Moray Firth to retain the title by a single shot. He said: “I’m delighted to have retained the title against some of the best hickory golfers in the world, and I’m looking forward to going for the hat-trick in 2022.”
