Garforth Golf Club will host the fourth Nelson Grimshaw Senior Open Championship on May 12 – bringing together an elite field of players for the scratch event.
Open to men over the age of 55, with an entry fee of £35, the 18-hole scratch event, which draws players from across the country, has a handicap limit of 7.0 and a prize of £300 for the leading player.
In 2025, Lindrick-based England international Kevin Parkes led the field of 52 players from across Yorkshire, Cumbria, Cheshire and the North East with a round of 71 – winning on countback thanks to his two under-par back nine.
