TaylorMade has announced an extension of its successful P700 series irons – the P760.
A progressive forged players iron, the P760 has been designed to give better players a set which works for them without the need to combine multiple sets. The design brings together technology and design elements from the P750, P770 and P790 models.
The P760’s progressive design is optimised for each club from 3-iron to AW to provide shaping capability and performance. The construction changes through the set – a single piece of steel is forged to create the head in the 8-PW/AW while a forged hollow body of steel is matched with a soft face and then injected with TaylorMade’s revolutionary SpeedFoam in the 3-7 irons. This combination promotes feel and shot shaping in the short irons while aiding forgiveness to promoting more consistent results in the long irons thanks to SpeedFoam, which is injected into the hollow construction to help generate higher ball speed while dampening vibrations to improve feel and sound.
