Durham City Golf Club’s men’s team and Tyneside Golf Club’s junior team lifted the Clark Cup trophies following the finals of the Durham County Golf Union club knockout events at Billingham Golf Club.
In the men’s event, Durham City’s five-man team – Jack Richardson, Alex Robinson, Richard Lee, Stuart Ord and David Bell – completed a 3-2 win over Bishop Auckland to claim the title. The team was led by club captain Stuart Ord, who followed in his father’s footsteps as he lifted the Clark Cup trophy as captain of Durham City.
In the Junior Clark Cup final, Tyneside’s team – JinHan Wang, ShengAo Duan, Aidan Robson, Will Harrison and Harry Gunn – came out on top as they beat the Chester-le-Street juniors 3-2 to claim the trophy.
