A new England Golf Access event, in partnership with the Ladies European Tour Access Series, will take place during the week commencing July 6 at The Manchester Golf Club.
The England Golf Access is set to bring together some of the world’s most promising female golfers, providing a competitive environment that supports player development and showcases emerging talent.
The event will be a significant moment in the governing body’s history – as it prepares to stage its first female professional championship, forming part of its ongoing commitment to creating meaningful competitive opportunities to strengthen the amateur talent pathway.
England Golf chief executive Jeremy Tomlinson said: “We’re extremely proud to be hosting our first professional women’s event in what will be a historic year for England Golf. This is yet another demonstration of our unwavering commitment to supporting and enhancing the women and girls’ game.
“We now have two professional events in the calendar to look forward to – both for men and women – where fans will be able to come and watch some of the best up-and-coming stars from around the world.”
Further details regarding the event schedule, entry criteria and spectator information will be released in the coming weeks.
