We may have endured a wetter than usual summer, but data from England Golf has shown that the appetite for golf was still strong across the country.
Throughout 2023, nine million scores were submitted – including a 2% increase in general play scores and a 7% growth in nine-hole scores returned, as MyEG app scoring grew by more than 21%.
England Golf also now has more than 60,000 registered iGolf users able to maintain a Handicap Index. To-date more than 7,700 (12%) iGolfers have transitioned into club membership.
