Durham County Ladies Golf Association captain Sue Wright presented a cheque for £5,000 to The Alzheimer’s Society as the association’s AGM.
The donation, raised at events throughout the season, will help fund research while providing help and support to those affected by all forms of dementia. At the AGM, Sue also announced she will continue to raise funds for The Alzheimer’s Society during 2024.
