Close House-based PGA assistant professional Alex Dixon picked up the first win of his professional career – winning at Rockliffe Hall with a hole-out eagle on the par four 18th.
Alex led the field of 34 professionals with a six under-par score – including his two at the last – in the Ferrari Newcastle-sponsored pro am. Wynyard’s James Harper finished alone in second place at four under-par.
In the TMP Wealth Management-sponsored am at Close House, Hartlepool-based Alex Wrigley picked up a second win in a month – topping the leaderboard with a four under-par round of 67.
At Stocksfield, James Wilson collected another win to add to his successes this season – leading the field with a two under-par round of 68 as four players tied for second place.
