Close House recognised as one of The Sunday Times’ Best Places to Work

Close House has been recognised as one of the UK’s Best Places to Work by The Sunday Times.

The Northumberland resort was ranked among the top 10 businesses nationally in the travel and leisure sector and medium business category, alongside organisations including TaylorMade and England Golf. Close House was also one of only five businesses in Newcastle to receive the accolade, which recognises excellence in workplace culture, employee engagement and staff wellbeing.

“We are absolutely delighted to have been recognised as one of The Sunday Times Best Places to Work,” said managing director Jonathan Lupton. “This achievement is a reflection of the incredible people who make Close House what it is – a passionate and dedicated team committed to delivering exceptional experiences for our members and guests every day.

“What makes this award especially meaningful is that the positive feedback we regularly receive from our members and guests is mirrored internally by our team. That shared sense of pride, support and community is something truly special, and we are incredibly proud to see it recognised on a national stage.

“I would like to thank every member of the team for their hard work and commitment. This recognition belongs to them, and we look forward to continuing to build a workplace where people can thrive.”
