Ponteland’s Charlotte Naughton helped England Schools complete a resounding 19.5-1.5 win over Wales.
Charlotte – who qualified to be part of the team after her win in the English Schools Golf Association National Under 16 Girls’ Championship at Coventry Hearsall Golf Club earlier this season – won her afternoon singles match at Newport Golf Club as England dominated both sessions.
