Charlotte Heath will compete on the Ladies European Tour in 2026 after securing her card through the LET Access Series order of merit.
Charlotte – who is from Huddersfield and is now based in Florida – won the LETAS Rookie of the Year title for 2025 and was among the seven players who earned LET membership through the season-long rankings.
“It means so much to have my LET card,” said Charlotte, who turned professional in the summer of 2024 after graduating from Florida State University. “I’ve enjoyed my time on the Access Series, but stepping up to the main tour quickly was always my goal and I’m really looking forward to making the next step.”
Charlotte was the only rookie to earn her LET card this season and made an immediate impact at the start of the year – narrowly missing out on victory in a playoff with fellow Englishwoman Thalia Martin at the Madaef Golfs Ladies Open.
Despite being sidelined for much of last season with a back injury, Charlotte bounced back this year with nine more top 10 finishes, including five in a row to end the season.
“I hadn’t played 18 holes for a long time when I went to Morocco [for the Madaef Golfs Ladies Open] due to the back injury. I did well that week and just built my season from there,” added Charlotte.
“My game is consistent – the improvements in my stats this season show that – and that’s given me the opportunity to add up top 10 finishes and get my card while not winning this season. Being in that position – knowing my stats are good – meant I didn’t feel loads of pressure late in the year. I did get nervous on the last two holes of the final event, but other than that it was just a case of staying focused on each shot, taking myself out of the wider situation, and letting the results happen.
“Having hated golf in 2024, due to the back injury, I went into 2025 with no expectations and got my LET card. I also had so much fun this season and I’m really looking forward to the experience of being out on tour again next year.
“Looking at my stats for this year, and having spent some time with my coach, I know what I need to tidy up if I’m going to win. I’m really confident going into the winter in Florida and I’m looking forward to getting going on the LET next season.”
The 2025 LETAS graduates also included England’s Gemma Clews – who topped the order of merit – Mexico’s Fernanda Lira, Austria’s Katharina Muehlbauer, Sweden’s Andrea Lignell – who won the season-ending Iberdrola Calatayud Ladies Open, Czech player Patricie Mackova, and Denmark’s Amalie Leth-Nissen.
