Bronte Law backs new England Golf series for junior girls

England Golf’s new series for junior female golfers is being supported by professional golfer and England Golf Ambassador Bronte Law.

The Bronte Law Junior Series is a 54-hole, two-day competition where players will play 18 holes on day one before taking part in 36 holes on the second day.

The series will be played at four venues – Delamere Forest in Cheshire (August 12-13), Farnham in Surrey (August 14-15), Cumberwell Park in Wiltshire and Moor Allerton in Yorkshire (both August 25-26).

The competition is open to all junior girls eligible to play for England, with the aim to increase younger players’ competitive experiences that are World Amateur Golf Rankings ranked.

Law, who has four professional wins to-date, said: “Having come through the England Golf setup in my junior years, I am passionate about ensuring there are more opportunities for young girls to succeed and develop within the game. I’m delighted to support this series and by having more competitive opportunities in elite amateur tournaments like this, young girls will be able to develop their game and prepare themselves for future competitions as they look to progress within the game, while also being able to pick up world ranking points.

“I’m looking forward to seeing some incredible talent playing at the series and can’t wait to see how far these players progress on their golfing journeys.”
