Serial county winner Andy Minnikin started the season by collecting his 100th Northumberland cap in the side’s opening friendly match against Lothians.
Andy, a member of City of Newcastle and Alnmouth golf clubs, is the reigning Northumberland county champion and picked up his cap in a losing effort as Lothians narrowly won, 9.5 points to 8.5 points.
