England won the Nations Cup as part of the 95th Portuguese Amateur Championship – with Yorkshiremen Ben Brown and Tom Osborne teaming up with Andrew Haswell to lift the trophy.
The trio helped England reach 22 under-par after three rounds of the event – five shots ahead of Italy II, and seven ahead of Czech Republic, the Netherlands and Wales.
The individual title was won by England’s Eliot Baker with a four-round score of 19 under-par at Penina Hotel & Golf Resort.
